Hanscom Air Force Base has turned the city into an upcoming base-wide exercise to assess its readiness and emergency response. The exercise begins on Wednesday, June 23rd and is expected to last until the following day, Thursday, June 24th.
A number of scenarios are envisaged, some of which may result in traffic delays near base entry points at different times during these two days. We know these delays can be disruptive, but we expect less disruption than in the past as a large part of our workforce still teleworks.
We apologize for any inconvenience and ask for your patience and understanding as we conduct this important training course that will allow us to assess our preparedness for emergency situations.
