Other common triggers for migraines include:

Storms, excessive heat, or changes in air pressure.

High humidity and heat that lead to dehydration.

Hormonal Changes in Women.

Concussions or traumatic brain injuries.

Different smells or food.

Besides caffeine and alcohol, some of the foods and substances that trigger migraines are chocolate, cheese, gluten, and foods that contain monosodium glutamate (MSG) or histamine.

What should i do if i have a migraine and how can i avoid it?

If you have migraine symptoms, make sure you find a quiet, low-light environment and try to get a good night’s sleep to promote brain healing.

According to Hendren, keeping a migraine diary can also help. This will help you identify what you did or ate that might be triggering your migraines.
